Tulsa's Towering Sophomore WR Josh Smith: Big-Play Size with Emerging Production
At 6'4" and 225 lbs, Josh Smith is a physical freshman phenom (redshirted 2024) who erupted in 2025 with 9 catches for 201 yards (22.3 avg) and 1 TD, including a career-high 112-yard explosion on 4 grabs vs. Temple and his first score vs. Army—proving he's a matchup nightmare with elite size and leaping ability (90 jump rating in EA CFB 26). No injury red flags, versatile HS track speed (sub-23.4 200m), and gritty tackler too; perfect fit for teams needing a red-zone beast who grows into WR1 potential amid Tulsa's 4-8 struggles.
