Hollie Thomas is becoming ULM’s every-tool catcher with power and polish
In the 2026 season, Hollie Thomas has emerged as a middle-of-the-order spark for UL Monroe, hitting .321 with 13 doubles and 5 home runs while also handling catching duties with a .972 fielding percentage. She was named Sun Belt Player of the Week in April 2025, and ULM described her as one of the most fundamentally sound catchers in the program, with the ability to hit to all fields with power. That combo of offense, defensive reliability, and coach-trusted toughness makes her a strong fit for teams that want a steady, high-upside backstop.
