Citadel LHP with Untapped Potential from High School Prospect Pedigree
Jack Thunberg, a left-handed pitcher for The Citadel, showed early promise with an 87 mph fastball, 85 mph exit velo, and 8.40 60-yard dash from his 2021 Perfect Game profile, transitioning from IMG Academy's elite training to college ball. Limited action in 2024 (four appearances) and no stats in 2025 highlight his developmental stage, but his perseverance—epitomized by refusing to back down during lockdowns—marks him as resilient and intense. Ideal for teams seeking a projectable lefty with raw athleticism and first-base versatility for a mid-major roster boost.
