Carleigh Croom is a freshman outfielder with a roster spot and real upside at Queens
In the 2026 season, Carleigh Croom is listed as a freshman OF/R/R for Queens University and has already seen game action, including pinch-hitting duty against South Carolina, but her stat line remains very limited so far[1][2][3]. The biggest takeaway is projection: Queens is giving her reps early, which usually signals trust in athleticism, defensive versatility, and development potential rather than finished production[1][4]. She looks like a fit for a team that values speed, work rate, and long-term upside more than instant offensive fireworks—still a little mystery, but the kind coaches love to mold[1][4].
