Valpo’s reliable redshirt-senior righty with a steady late-season pulse
Justin Bultemeier, a 6-foot, 155-pound redshirt senior RHP for Valparaiso, looks like a dependable bullpen piece with strike-throwing value and the composure of a veteran; in 2026, he logged multiple effective relief outings, including a 4.0-inning scoreless effort with 2 strikeouts in the win over Evansville and a clean inning in the Alabama State series, while Valpo also recognized him for CSC Academic All-District and MVC Scholar-Athlete honors. He’s the kind of fit teams like because he brings experience, control, and a team-first profile more than loud velocity headlines.
