Chattanooga’s Intense Left-Handed Pitcher with Global Grit
Sophia Guerra, a 5’5” left-handed pitcher from Guatemala City, stands out not just for her 2025 ERA of 10.50 over 4 innings but for her relentless intensity and global perspective that fuels her competitive fire. As a junior at Chattanooga Mocs, she brings a unique differentiator: the mental toughness honed by representing her country internationally, which translates into high-pressure game resilience. While her stats show room for growth, her personality—driven, witty, and fiercely loyal—makes her a perfect fit for teams valuing grit over polish. No major injury history; she’s ready to lead with heart and precision.
