Ava Lester brings volume and strikeout upside for Hampton
Ava Lester is Hampton’s workhorse pitcher, finishing the 2026 season with 17 appearances, 13 starts, a team-high 34 strikeouts, and a 5-7 record with a 5.47 ERA, showing she can handle meaningful innings even when the results are uneven.[2] She also had a key win in late March and was still trusted in conference play, which suggests Hampton views her as a reliable part of the rotation rather than a situational arm.[1][3]
