Mason Gaines brings two-way versatility and steady contact production for Omaha
In the 2025 season, Mason Gaines hit .234 with 33 hits, 24 RBI, and 51 total bases in 42 games for Omaha, giving the Mavericks a left-handed bat with lineup flexibility and a pitcher who can add matchup value out of the bullpen or rotation. His appeal is less about flash and more about utility: he can help on both sides of the ball, and that kind of roster flexibility is valuable for teams that want a multi-role athlete who can cover needs without demanding a single slot.
