A developing, defense-first big with length and shot-blocking upside
Ndiaye is a freshman forward for Sam Houston whose early value comes more from rim protection, rebounding, and activity than scoring; in 2024-25 he averaged 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10.1 minutes, and Sam Houston notes he missed the nonconference slate with a hand injury before appearing in 15 games[1][6][16]. His profile suggests a low-usage, energy big who can help on defense and on the glass, but he still needs to improve efficiency and offensive assertiveness before becoming a bigger-minute fit[4][6].
