high-upside Terp wing, but 2025-26 is lost to injury
Passmore is a former top-50 recruit with real pop: at 6-foot-5, he brings length, bounce and downhill athleticism that can change tempo in a hurry. In the 2024-25 season at Kansas, he played sparingly, averaging 0.7 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.3 assists in about 5 minutes per game, so the stat line is light but the tools are obvious. The catch: Maryland announced he tore his Achilles and will miss the entire 2025-26 season, so the fit is more about future upside than immediate help. If you want a long-armed, transition-friendly guard/wing with room to grow, he’s intriguing.
