Ben Egbo brings size, steadiness, and academic polish to UC Irvine’s guard room
In the 2025-26 season, Ben Egbo has been a low-usage, high-discipline rotation guard for UC Irvine, appearing in 18 games with one start and producing roughly 0.9 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game while earning Big West Winter All-Academic honors. He’s not a headline-chasing scorer, but his 6'4", 205-pound frame, steady floor-game, and willingness to fill a support role make him the kind of glue piece coaches trust. If your team wants a mature, team-first guard who can absorb minutes without disrupting structure, he’s a legitimate fit.
