Aziz N'Diaye brought elite rim protection and rebounding to Washington
At Washington, N'Diaye was a 7-foot, 260-pound center who anchored the paint with toughness, defensive instincts, and rare rebounding volume. In the 2012-13 season, he averaged 8.8 points and 9.1 rebounds, and finished his UW career 7th in field-goal percentage (.560) and 4th in blocks (113). He was also a 2012 Pac-12 All-Defensive Team selection, which fits the eye test: big body, strong hands, and a reliable interior presence. If a team needs a physical, defense-first big who can finish efficiently, he checks a lot of boxes.
