Jadeyn Merrill brings veteran two-way value to Western Michigan’s softball staff
In the 2026 season, senior Jadeyn Merrill gave Western Michigan a useful pitcher/utility option with real pop, highlighted by a complete-game win over Butler and team-leading power flashes early in the year. She also earned 2026 Academic All-MAC honors with a 3.57 GPA, signaling the kind of disciplined, high-IQ teammate coaches love. Merrill’s profile is appealing because she can help in multiple roles, has shown strikeout ability in the circle, and brings senior leadership; if you want a versatile, mature competitor rather than a one-tool specialist, she fits the bill.
