Trent Ash brings strike-throwing upside and proven run prevention to the mound
Ash profiles as a dependable right-handed starter who already showed real college value in 2025, going 3-3 with a 3.22 ERA, 58 strikeouts in 50.1 innings, and one complete game at Bethany Lutheran before moving to Missouri State. His appeal is the combination of efficiency, competitiveness, and enough bat-missing ability to work deep into games; he also has a track record of being an all-conference arm. At 5'10", he may not be the flashiest power profile, but he looks like a pitchability-first fit for a staff that values toughness and consistent execution.
