Caleb Ricks brings athletic, projectable outfield tools and a right-handed bat with real bat speed
Ricks is a high-upside Notre Dame outfielder whose calling cards are athleticism, a quick right-handed swing, and solid all-around defensive actions: Prep Baseball Report lists a 6.86-second 60, 83 mph outfield arm, and consistent footwork with sure hands. His offensive profile is more about impact potential than polish right now, with present bat speed, a loose uphill path, and measurable pop, making him the kind of player who can grow into more run production as he matures. He also brings proven winning pedigree, including a Kentucky state title and top-of-state outfield ranking, which points to competitiveness and big-moment comfort.[1][12]
