Blake Ford brings proven kickoff leg and real special-teams upside to Georgia Southern
In the 2026 season, Blake Ford enters Georgia Southern as a fifth-year kicker with a strong leg and a competitive edge that coaches clearly value. He transferred in after appearing in two games at Arkansas in the 2025 season, where he logged nine kickoff attempts, six touchbacks, and showed the ability to drive the ball deep; Georgia Southern also called him “super talented” in spring ball. His fit is simple: if you want kickoff consistency, hidden-yardage help, and a kicker with real upside, Ford is a name to watch.
