Luke Rolland brings veteran right-hander stability to UAPB's bullpen
Rolland is a graduate-student RHP at Arkansas-Pine Bluff who gives the Golden Lions a seasoned arm, and his 2024 numbers at Austin Peay hint at a pitcher who can miss bats while keeping hitters in check: he threw 20.1 innings, posted a 9.29 K/9, and held opponents to a .275 average. The bigger draw is the profile—experienced, 6-foot-2, and battle-tested through multiple programs—which suggests a low-drama fit for a staff that needs dependable strike-throwing and maturity as much as velocity.
