Deems May is UNC’s dependable, do-it-all TE with real special-teams value
In the 2024 season, Deems May appeared in every game for North Carolina and was a steady presence on special teams, while his 2023 line included one catch for 12 yards and his first career start at tight end. He’s a compact, physical 6-2, 225-pound tight end who brings toughness, versatility, and coach-trust more than flashy box-score production. The best fit is a team that values reliability, effort, and role-player impact over pure receiving volume.
