In the 2024 season, Edward Fonua carved out a real role for Fresno State, making four starts and helping stabilize a constantly rotating offensive line; he also earned Academic All-Mountain West honors, which says plenty about his reliability. His best calling card is power and pass-protection growth, backed by a strong JUCO résumé at Cerritos, where he was an All-American and did not allow a sack at left tackle. The catch: he’s out for the 2026 season with an off-field lower-leg injury, so he’s more of a future fit than an immediate plug-and-play answer right now.
