Madisyn Zito adds versatility, academics, and upside to Sacred Heart’s softball mix
In the 2026 season, Madisyn Zito appeared in 7 games for Sacred Heart as a first-year/sophomore UTL, and her profile points more to a high-upside role player than a finished stat-sheet star yet. She brings a strong prep offensive track record (.472 average as a senior; .382 career average), plus earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition in 2026, which suggests discipline and coachability. At 5-foot-4, she looks like a compact, adaptable option whose value is as much about versatility, reliability, and growth curve as it is about box-score production.
