High-usage MVSU guard with scoring punch and board work
Marcus Romain has been a reliable offensive driver for Mississippi Valley State, with ESPN listing him at 18.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game on 45.0% shooting in the 2025-26 season, while earlier MVSU coverage highlighted him as the team’s top scorer at 16.3 points per game. His calling card is shot-making plus guard-sized rebounding, and he has shown he can swing games with second-half bursts and big individual scoring nights. For a team, he looks like a fit if you want a physical, go-to perimeter scorer who competes hard and can carry usage.
