Joey Craig brings contact, pop, and versatility to Omaha’s outfield
Craig is a left-handed outfield bat with real in-game production upside: in 2025 at New Mexico State, he hit .224 with 7 homers, 29 RBIs, 24 walks, and 7 steals in 47 games, and he earned Conference USA Hitter of the Week honors after a 6-for-10 weekend that included a home run and five RBIs. He looks like a fit for teams that value patience, sneaky power, and multi-phase value, though his profile still has some swing-and-miss and recent injury history to monitor.
