Kamuela Ka'aihue brings size, experience, and the green-dot command to UNLV's defense
In the 2025 season, Kamuela Ka'aihue appeared in all 14 games for UNLV and posted 23 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and 0.5 sacks, while also wearing the green dot at times to handle defensive communication—a telltale sign of trust from the staff. At 6-foot-2 and 240 pounds, he profiles as a sturdy, assignment-sound middle linebacker with transfer experience from Arizona, plus the kind of calm, quarterback-of-the-defense presence that coaches love when the lights get bright.
