Buffalo's Steady LG Alex Heininger: Reliable Starter with Proven Durability
Redshirt-junior Alex Heininger, a 6'4", 295-lb exercise science major from Rochester, NY, emerged as a cornerstone for Buffalo in 2025, starting nine of 10 games at left guard after limited action in 2024—showcasing his battle-tested reliability and physical intensity ideal for MAC trenches. His 67 OVR in EA Sports College Football 26 underscores solid fundamentals, making him a low-risk, high-floor fit for teams needing plug-and-play depth on the interior line without the drama of injury-prone prospects.
