Ross James gives Oregon a steady, NFL-style leg at punter
Ross James is a reliable field-position weapon for Oregon, coming off a 2024 season in which he averaged 45.46 yards on 37 punts across 13 games and earned an 84 overall rating in EA SPORTS College Football 26. His biggest differentiator is consistency: he can flip the field without a lot of drama, and his home-road split shows solid production in multiple environments. If you need a punter who is experienced, composed, and already proven in a high-pressure Power conference setting, James fits.
