Taj Owens brings steady backcourt poise and elite free-throw touch to Radford
Taj Owens is a **low-usage, efficient guard** whose value shows up in poise, ball security, and shooting touch rather than big box-score lines. In the 2024-25 season, he averaged **2.3 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 1.0 assists** while shooting **39.1%** from the field, and Radford listed him as **second on the team in free-throw percentage at 85.7%**; he also reached a career-high **11 points vs. Howard**[3][5]. At **5'9"**, he looks like a fit for teams that want a disciplined, competitive floor general who can stabilize possessions and capitalize at the line[2][5].
