Auburn’s high-OBP bat with a second-round pro ceiling
In the 2026 season, Chris Rembert was Auburn’s lineup engine, hitting .344 with a .467 on-base percentage, .555 slugging, 14 doubles, 10 homers and 46 RBI while starting 56 games across second base, right field and DH. He pairs advanced bat-to-ball skill with strike-zone control, plus enough defensive versatility to move around the diamond without hurting the team. Auburn’s preseason All-American and Golden Spikes Watch List pick, he also showed toughness after an early-2026 ankle issue and still finished as a second-round MLB Draft selection, which says a lot about the trust scouts had in the profile.
