The Citadel’s steady, efficient frontcourt veteran
In the 2016 season, Brian White was a reliable all-around forward for The Citadel, averaging 9.0 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game while shooting 78.7% from the free-throw line. His value went beyond the box score: he was a versatile 6-6 forward who could score efficiently, defend, and hold his own in the rotation, finishing his Citadel career with 1,059 points, 497 rebounds, and 51 blocks. If you want a smart, disciplined, low-drama contributor who knows how to play, White was the kind of glue guy coaches trust.
