Mercer RHP Jeb Johnson brings strike-throwing stability with workhorse volume
Jeb Johnson is a senior right-hander for Mercer who has shown real value as a dependable innings-eater: in 2025 he appeared in 21 games, made 10 starts, and struck out 58 batters in 61.1 innings while issuing only 14 walks, a strong indicator of command and competitiveness. His 2026 line has been more uneven, with a 6.14 ERA and a 3-4 record, but the underlying profile still points to a pitcher who can attack the zone and give a staff length. He looks like a fit for teams that prioritize strike throwing, durability, and low-walk reliability over pure overpowering stuff.[1][5]
