Trevor Barry is the tackles-first linebacker New Hampshire needed
In the 2025 season, Trevor Barry started all 13 games for New Hampshire and led the Wildcats with 78 tackles, including 41 solo stops and a team-high 37 assists, while also flashing up with 10 tackles in both the opener at NC Central and at Rhode Island[1][9][12]. He’s a downhill, sideline-to-sideline linebacker with a wrestling background, which shows up in his leverage, physicality, and ability to finish plays; UNH’s own scouting notes praised his instincts and range coming out of high school[8]. He also earned preseason recognition from Phil Steele for 2026, so he’s very much on the radar as a sturdy, impact fit for a defense that wants reliability and edge[9].
