a proven scoring guard with Big South pedigree
Efianayi is a 6-foot-2 guard who built his reputation at Gardner-Webb as a high-volume, efficient bucket-getter and steady veteran presence. In the 2017-18 season, he averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 43.7% from the field, and he entered his senior season with 1,109 career points and a 75.1% free-throw mark, showing legit shot-making and late-game poise. The bigger sell: he has long been viewed as one of the league’s most effective wings, with a polished scoring package and enough toughness to handle pressure possessions.
