Jackson Proctor brings efficient, veteran QB depth to NIU
In the 2025 season, Jackson Proctor was a depth quarterback for Northern Illinois who flashed efficiency in limited action, completing 2 of 6 passes for 8 yards and adding 13 rushing yards without a turnover. NIU’s own preview said he arrived from Dartmouth with 2,255 career passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns, a 70% completion rate, and 617 rushing yards, signaling a poised, dual-threat profile with real experience. The catch: he was later reported to have left the program, so the fit question hinges on roster status as much as talent.
