Kellen King brings veteran size, steady efficiency, and glue-guy value to San Jose State
In the 2022-23 season, Kellen King was a 6-foot-4 guard who played in all 19 games, made 10 starts, and averaged 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists, showing he can do a little of everything without forcing the issue.[1] His profile suggests a smart, mature multi-year contributor with enough size to rebound from the guard spot and a recruiting-story edge: he chose San Jose State for Coach Tim Miles, the engineering grad program, and the weather—very different, very practical, very grown-up.[1] ESPN and Sports-Reference later list him with smaller recent role numbers, so the big question is fit: he looks best as a low-drama, high-IQ connector rather than a usage-heavy scorer.[2][3]
