Dwight Meikle brought Hampton a tough, two-way frontcourt punch
In the 2014-15 season, Dwight Meikle was Hampton’s leading scorer and rebounder at 13.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, while also ranking among the MEAC leaders in field-goal percentage and blocks. He was more than a box-score guy: multiple reports highlighted his athleticism, midrange scoring, rim activity, and defensive edge, and Hampton clearly missed him when an ankle injury sidelined him late in the season. If you want a physical wing/forward who can score, rebound, and bring edge, he fit the bill—when healthy.
