Matt Husek brings efficient finishing and interior toughness to Holy Cross
Husek’s value for Holy Cross came from efficient scoring inside the arc, solid rebounding, and shot-blocking presence; in the 2016-17 season he played all 35 games, started 18, averaged 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks, and ranked eighth in the Patriot League in blocks.[8] ESPN also lists him at 6.0 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 44.1% shooting, and his 20-point outburst on 8-for-9 shooting against American showed he could punish defenses when his touch was on.[3][1]
