Brodey Bitove is a big-bodied corner outfielder with upside, but the bat still has to catch up
In the 2026 season, Brodey Bitove’s Indiana role was extremely limited, as he appeared in just one game and went 0-for-2 at Evansville before spending the rest of the year out of the lineup. He brings a 6-foot-2, 205-pound left-handed bat from the corner outfield with a strong high-school résumé, but his college track record at Pepperdine (.162 in 2025) shows he’s still searching for consistent production. The fit is more “tools and projection” than instant impact: if the contact and on-base game click, there’s something to work with.
