Erin Krause is the Colonels’ steady bat with clutch-pop upside
In the 2026 season, Erin Krause has been one of Nicholls’ best all-around hitters, opening the year with a .450 average, 18 hits, two home runs, 12 runs, and 11 RBIs, while also delivering a walk-off two-run homer against SIUE and reaching 200 career hits in April[2][14][5]. She’s a left-right hitter with real gap power and run production, and her résumé suggests more than numbers: she earned NFCA All-Region honors in 2023, has shown defensive versatility across the infield, and has a reputation for coming through in big spots[3][1].
