Brandt Corley gives ULM a reliable southpaw with swing-and-miss upside
Brandt Corley is a redshirt junior lefty for ULM who has shown he can miss bats and work deep enough to matter: in the 2026 season opener, he struck out 8 over 5.1 innings with just 1 earned run, and he later delivered a 6-inning, 6-strikeout outing against Arkansas State[8][4]. He’s not a spotless ace yet—his 2026 line has been uneven at times—but the profile is appealing: a competitive strike-thrower with midweek-to-weekend starter value, enough poise to handle pressure, and the kind of left-handed look every pitching staff can use[2][3][6].
