Kevin Samonsky flashes swing-and-miss upside for Charleston
Kevin Samonsky gives Charleston a live right-handed arm with starter-to-bullpen versatility: in the 2025 season, he made 20 appearances, struck out 29 in 30.2 innings, and even earned a win in a key conference game. Reports from Charleston note he handled multiple innings well, opened the 2025 conference slate with 6 strikeouts over 3.2 innings, and later added scoreless relief work—traits that point to composure and competitiveness. He’s a strong fit if you want a tough, multi-inning RHP with room to keep growing.
