Alabama's Gritty Sharpshooter Turned Pro Free Agent
Dom Welch, the 6-5 guard from Alabama, exploded for 15.1 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 35.6% from three in the 2024-25 international season with Kitchener-Waterloo Titans, showcasing elite shooting (50.3% FG) and rebounding prowess after overcoming a major calf injury that sidelined him early in 2022-23 college ball. A St. Bonaventure transfer with NIT All-Tournament honors, his high-motor intensity, clutch gene (72 threes in 2021-22), and two-way versatility make him a differentiator—perfect for teams needing a battle-tested, undrafted gem ready to contribute now as an unrestricted NBA free agent.
