Charleston’s composed floor general with Olympic pedigree
In the 2012–13 season, Andrew Lawrence was the Cougars’ steady two-way engine, averaging 13.5 points, 3.7 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 39.9% from the field and 34.9% from three.[1][15] What makes him pop is the blend of poise, late-game shot-making, and veteran leadership: he was a two-time Bob Cousy Award candidate, made Great Britain’s 2012 Olympic roster as a college player, and finished his Charleston career with 1,219 points and 393 assists.[15] If a team wants a guard who can organize an offense, handle pressure, and bring big-stage confidence, Lawrence is a very clean fit.[5][15]
