Jaylen Minnett brings veteran shot-making and steady guard play to Missouri State
Minnett is a seasoned 6-foot-1 guard who gave Missouri State reliable perimeter scoring and experience in the 2021-22 season, averaging 8.6 points while shooting 40.0% from three and 90.0% at the line in 32 games. He’s the kind of low-drama, high-IQ guard who can stretch defenses, handle the ball, and keep an offense organized, with a proven track record as a career 1,400-point scorer before Missouri State. The big appeal: mature shot selection, deep range, and proven production in a bench-to-rotation role.
