Tre Brown brings speed, depth, and up-the-middle upside to SE Louisiana
Tre Brown is a redshirt infielder for SE Louisiana, and the clearest current read is that he profiles as a depth-plus-speed piece who can help stabilize the middle of the diamond in the 2026 season. Louisiana’s staff specifically described him as adding “depth and speed up the middle,” which is exactly the kind of low-drama, high-value trait that can fit a winning infield. His background as an All-District shortstop and pitcher at Edna Karr suggests athleticism and versatility, while his redshirt status hints at a player still developing rather than a finished product.
