Ian Williams is Furman’s do-it-all weapon: a clutch kicker with serious range
In the 2025 season, Ian Williams gave Furman a rare three-phase edge as a placekicker, kickoff specialist, and punter, earning Stats Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week after drilling three field goals — including a 50-yarder — to fuel a comeback win over William & Mary. He’s been described by Furman as a consensus All-SoCon kicker and the top kickoff specialist in the FCS, with a 57-yard Furman record field goal and elite touchback production. Translation: if you need a reliable leg, big-game poise, and hidden field-position value, this is your guy.
