Josh Scott brings size, scoring touch, and a résumé built on production
Josh Scott is a 6-6 forward from Fort Payne, Alabama, whose pre-Lipscomb track record says “bucket getter”: he averaged 24.8 points per game before a season-ending senior-year injury, and earlier posted 17.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists in 2024. Lipscomb redshirted him in the 2025-26 season, so the appeal is more projection than box-score volume right now. Why care? He’s an efficient-looking wing/forward with proven scoring instincts, playmaking feel, and toughness after fighting through injury — the kind of high-upside fit that can quietly become a problem for opposing defenses.
