Mick Uebelhor brings a starter’s frame and real strikeout production to Western Kentucky
Uebelhor has been a useful right-handed arm for Western Kentucky in 2026, posting a 3.43 ERA with a 3-2 record and 59 strikeouts, which points to swing-and-miss stuff and starter-level value. At 6'3", 210, he has the build scouts like for durability, and his left-handed bat/right-handed throw background suggests athleticism and feel that can help him adapt quickly. The main fit question is consistency, but his run prevention and punchouts make him a credible rotation or high-leverage option for a staff needing innings and competitive toughness.
