Blake Primrose is one of college baseball’s premier power catchers
Primrose has been a true middle-of-the-order force for Saint Joseph’s in 2026, earning Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honors after leading the league in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging, OPS, runs, and home runs. His profile is rare for a catcher: elite power, strong strike-zone control, and proven run production, plus he was a Buster Posey Award semifinalist, which signals national respect for both his bat and his defensive value. If you want a catcher who can anchor a lineup and change games with one swing, he fits.
