High-Volume Upstate LHP with 5.01 ERA and 158 IP Over Three Seasons
Jack Gibson is a durable, high-intensity left-handed pitcher for South Carolina Upstate who has logged 158 innings across 32 starts (2024–2026), showcasing elite stamina and a 5.01 ERA despite facing heavy contact (180 hits). His differentiator isn’t just his 149 strikeouts but his relentless work rate and personality: he thrives in long outings, rarely skips a start, and brings a gritty, team-first intensity that elevates the entire rotation. While his ERA suggests room for refinement, his volume and consistency make him a reliable fit for teams needing a pitcher who can absorb innings and lead by example—especially if you value resilience over flash.
