Demetre Roberts is FDU’s spark-plug guard — tiny frame, big-time engine
In the 2022-23 season, Demetre Roberts was the heartbeat of FDU’s backcourt, pairing quick-hit scoring with playmaking and clutch shot-making; he averaged 16.7 points and 4.1 assists per game in NEC play, and he helped power the Knights’ famous NCAA Tournament upset of Purdue with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. He’s a compact, fearless lead guard who brings pace, toughness, and pressure-tested confidence — the kind of creator who can change a game even when the box score doesn’t tell the whole story.
