Ronald Hull brings size, upside, and freshman-year flashes to Akron’s defensive line
In the 2024 season, Ronald Hull appeared in five games for Akron and recorded two tackles, a modest box score that still fits a developmental DL profile with upside. The 6'2" lineman arrived as a three-star recruit at Carver High School and, on the high school level, showed disruptive traits with 41 tackles, 6.0 sacks, and 5 forced fumbles in 2023-24. That combination of length, backfield playmaking, and high motor is why he’s worth watching: he looks like a projectable interior defender who can grow into a useful rotational piece if his technique and consistency keep trending up.
